• Appearance: Your child’s skin, legs, head, face, and eyes will change a lot early in life. Your pediatrician will monitor changes during newborn visits to ensure your child's health. 
• Basic Care: Taking care of your child includes bathing them, managing their fingernails, diapering, managing umbilical cord areas, feeding, sleeping, and playing with them. 
• Problem Management: Problems like diaper rash, constipation, diarrhea, fever, colds, crying, colic, and even jaundice.
